YMCA INTERNATIONAL ECUMENICAL CENTRE, KOTTARAKKARA

The International Ecumenical Centre is a new venture of the YMCA South West India Region at Kottarakkara after the successful implementation of the YMCA International Centre at Alwaye and YMCA Camp Centre at Vythiri, Wayanad. The Ecumenical Centre will be more than a religious centre. All its program and activities will be geared to the unity of humankind as an expression of our commitment to the mission of the YMCA. The Centre Will offer a forum for all Church denominations and religions to come together to uphold moral values and to work for social change and harmony.

The focus of the centre will be the empowerment of the people holding an ecumenical vision and enabling the enablers at various levels of Church and Society. Studies, conferences, seminars, dialogues, courses and publications will be planned and executed by the centre with the object of fostering ecumenical vision and consciousness and sensitizing the people on socio-economic and political issues with a view to increase the creative participation in the struggle of the nation for a just society.

The facilities of the centre includes Seminar Hall, International Guest House and facilities for camps and retreats.
